Allspice Berries

Allspice's taste has a warm, pleasing blend of cinnamon and clove and is generally described as possessing a woody, cinnamon-like flavor which is slightly numbing.  Allspice is used in sausages, jams, pumpkin, gravies, roasts, hams, baked goods, teas, jerk seasoning, and curry. Allspice pleasant flavor works well in combination with chili powder, cloves, coriander, garlic, ginger, mustard, black pepper, bourbon, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, coriander, cumin, fennel seed, ginger, nutmeg, orange and vanilla.
