Jalapeno Flakes

Native to Mexico, the Jalapeno is a member of the species Capsicum annuum and is widely considered to be the most recognized chile.  It is named after the town of Xalapa (sometimes spelled as Jalapa) in the Mexican state of Veracruz. These flakes capture the heat and fruitiness of jalapeno chiles in chewy little, powerful bits. Jalapeno Flakes are delicious when added to your hamburgers, meatloaf, chilis, stews, and anywhere else you want to add little burst of heat.
